plays as centering around "outsiders in search of clarity," guides
his characters with sensitivity and humor to a place of solace and
understanding of each other and themselves..In dealing with the ways that
family members survive major loss, the play includes comedy as well as drama.
Ben Brantley in his review in the New York Times, applauded the play's
"meticulously mapped empathy" and "honesty, accuracy, and
humor. "

Lanasa, Victor Urbina, and Nikka Ziemer. Interestingly, two of the actors,
Lanasa as Becca, who is a playwright herself (one of her plays, "Buy
Five Get One Free," was produced at the Black Box Theatre in 2008) and
Urbina, playing Jason, knew "Rabbit Hole" from teaching it and
studying it, respectively, in university classes prior to their acting in it.
"It was very exciting to work with actors who had already spent such
significant time thinking about this play prior to starting to rehearse
it" said director Herman. Scenic and Lighting Design is by Peter Herman
and Costume design by Cortney Newtson. The Assistant Director is Rorie
Measure, Sound Engineer is Don McCoy, and Danny Wade is Board Operator for
