A VARIETY OF SOLO ARTISTS APPEAR AT THE BLACK BOX
THEATRE The Black Box Theatre will host
several Solo Artists during July and August. "We are between productions
after "Buy One, Get Five Free" and the beginning of our 2008-2009
at the end of August, and we like to have interesting events going on all the
time at our theatre," said Ceil Herman, Artistic Director of No Strings
Theatre Company, the theatre's resident company. The productions cover a
range from feminist theatre ("Politics of Hair" and "Crazy Bag"),
classic biographical ("Mark Twain") and true and inspirational
history ("One Year to Live"). Tickets for all events except the
"Claim Yourself" Workshop on July 26, which is free, are
$10.00 regular and $9.00 students and seniors over 65. Reservations are
strongly recommended, due to the limited time of the performance runs, and
may be made by calling (575) 523-1223 or online at http://www.no-strings.org
